We’ll review your medical history and do a clinical assessment of both mom and baby. I’ll evaluate the feeding, providing hands-on support with positioning and latch as needed. Using a medical-grade scale, I’ll do pre-and post-feeding weights to ensure your baby is transferring milk well and growing appropriately. I’ll answer all feeding questions and provide a custom feeding plan that’s tailored to your goals. Follow-up support via a HIPAA-compliant messaging service is included for 1 week.

You’ll be measured for the right flange size and I’ll observe a pumping session to ensure proper fit and that your pump is operating well. I'll show you how to use your pump, clean it properly, and store your breastmilk. We will talk about ways to increase milk supply and how to maximize milk output while pumping. Together we will develop a personalized pumping plan to set you up for success. This option is ideal for NICU moms, exclusive pumpers, and those returning to work.

Sit down one-on-one with an IBCLC to talk about what to expect before the big day! We will talk through your medical history to determine any risk factors that could impact your breastfeeding journey and discuss your birth plan. I will go over the basics of breastfeeding including position/latch, what to expect in the first few weeks, how to know if your baby is getting enough milk and most importantly… when to reach out for help! If you need assistance obtaining a breast pump through insurance, I can guide you through the process and help you evaluate your options. I’ll answer all your questions and make sure you have everything you need to prepare for your little one’s arrival. My self-pay clients are eligible for a discounted rate for a postpartum visit once your baby arrives.

We'll connect via a HIPAA-compliant video platform to discuss your breastfeeding questions and concerns in a secure and confidential environment. This setup allows me to provide verbal guidance while observing your feeding or pumping sessions. However, if you're experiencing pain, difficulty with latching, or if your baby is not gaining weight adequately, an in-person consultation might be more suitable. Such challenges often require hands-on assessment to identify and address the underlying issues. The Virtual option would be helpful for clients that I’ve had an initial home visit with that have some questions, moms returning back to work with pumping questions, or questions about milk supply.
