Pumping should not hurt! The #1 reason moms experience pain with pumping is because they are using the wrong flange size. Most women don’t fit the standard sizes that come with pumps.

When you are using the right flange size, pumping will be comfortable and will give you the best milk out.

Using the wrong size can impact your milk supply.

flange fit matters.

What to expect from a flange fitting

At Mama & Milk, we use an evidenced based approach to flange fitting. We’ll start by measuring your nipple size to narrow down the flange sizes that are most likely to fit.

You’ll have the chance to try from three different plastic flange shapes, available in a variety of sizes, as well as silicone inserts. Once we find the right size and shape for you, we’ll guide you on where to purchase the flanges you need for your home pump.
