Keep in mind when going through the application process for The lactation Network they will ask how urgent your need is for an appointment. If you need to be seen quicker (latching issues/ pain with latching) select emergent or urgent. A prenatal consult would fall under the “non-urgent” category. Below are the response times from TLN depending on what priority you pick.
Emergent: Same Business Day Response
Urgent: 1 Business Day Response
Non-urgent/Planning: 3 Business Days Response
We can't schedule our appointment until you receive your official approval from them.
If you are planning on going the self pay route, there is no delay in scheduling. I will provide a superbill for you to pursue reimbursement with your insurance company.
